A discussion meeting focusing on three key industry standards for mechanical parking systems was successfully held in Hangzhou from August 19 to 21, 2024, convened by the Parking Equipment Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Lifting Appliances.
The meeting was presided over by the Secretary-General of the Subcommittee and attracted 35 representatives from 32 industry entities. Among the participants, Zhejiang Noblelift Garage was specially invited as an exemplary industry enterprise. The head of Noblelift's R&D department attended as a delegate and joined other experts in reviewing comprehensive presentations on the revision processes and key updates to the standards for "Horizontal Moving Mechanical Parking Equipment," "Vertical Lifting Mechanical Parking Equipment," and "Aisle Stacking Mechanical Parking Equipment."
Throughout the sessions, all participants engaged in thorough, clause-by-clause discussions of the draft standards, providing valuable insights and recommendations. The collective efforts resulted in the successful achievement of all meeting objectives.
Since their initial implementation, these three industry standards have significantly contributed to enhancing parking equipment quality and safety, regulating industry development, and better serving the public's need for secure parking solutions. The current revisions aim to incorporate the latest technological advancements, further elevating the standards' technical level and supporting the industry's progress toward safer, greener, smarter, and higher-quality development.
The successful conclusion of this meeting represents an important milestone in the standardization efforts for the parking equipment sector and establishes a stronger foundation for future industry growth. The anticipated final release of these updated standards is expected to generate substantial positive impact across the industry.
